Things to do on a Sunday

Gobble up a salt beef and mustard beigel from Beigel Bake on Brick Lane.

You certainly can't beat it and it's definitely worth the long queues. It's particluraly good in the early hours after a night out. That reminds me, a trip to Columbia Road is long overdue..

I said I wasn't 'doing' Christmas this year but am slowly melting. I'm sure I'll end up with a tree from Columbia Road.

Columbia Road. Is that where The Royal Oak pub is that was used in Goodnight Sweetheart (a classic all-time favourite 90s comedy of mine, though it actually raises quite serious concerns)? It opens after 6pm so I've never really made it there which is just as well to save me from slipping into a time warp meself!

I just had one hell of a Déjà Vu whilst reading this blog entry. It reminded me of a very cryptic little dream of mine which I can't really pinpoint now that it's gone. What was it that was said by Wordsworth? 'Poetry is emotion recollected in tranquility.' PFFF!

The Royal Oak is open all hours - including Sunday mornings. It flies the rainbow flag and is always packed.
