He obviously hasn't seen Heston Blumenthal! The freak is testing potatoes on a machine that costs £2,500 (and you can only weigh one slice at a time). The dry matter has to be 22% to make the perfect chip.
If I made amazing dishes, I would be obsessed too!
a.c.t. I'm not really sure what to say to that - more money than sense/too much time on his hands. Pick a cliché and I'm sure it'll apply.
