Little things add up to a beautiful day

Sunshine. Children chattering. Birds singing. Flowers blooming. Lunch with a complete stranger.

Kensington to Westminster by way of Holland Park and Chelsea.

I can't believe how beautiful it is there and it's only April. We still have snow (although it should be gone by the weekend).

What's this complete stranger business? Do tell!

Right, this has convinced me that Spring is definitely herte and that I must start getting out again. Lunch with complete stranger? Most I've ever had with a complete stranger is coffee!

Love the peacock! Where did you find him? Holland Park? You know, I lived in London for 15 years, but never ever went to Holland Park. Ain't that a shame?

I am getting ready to go out and have an Ems-style afternoon!

After bumping into the stranger (once literally) on Kensington High Street I joked about who was following who. I then asked if he knew of somewhere good for a cheap (independent) lunch. Turns out he was on his way to a place very much fitting that description...

Red, the peacock was in Holland Park. My first visit - London is such a vast place.

Ashley - good on you! Hope it was fun.
