I have a public service type of job, too-- I write environmental regulations. I never get that kind of positive feedback. I get people screaming that I am killing their asthmatic child or alternately, businessmen telling me that I am the reason the economy is shit. You should be very pleased.

A V rewarding card indeed and well-deserved, I'm sure. Do you remember the old tobacco tins one would get for learning spellings with. Best Thing. I used to love their smell so perhaps I smoked earlier than I thought to play up Eliot's 'Let us take the air in a tobacco trance.'
